Jim Ogonowoski’s Uniform Violation?
Check out the brouhaha over at Richard Howe’s website regarding the potential violation of Air Force regulations by Jim Ogonowski. The regulation is pretty stringent on what a retired officer can do –
According to Air Force Instruction 36-2903 (2 Aug 06) where in chapter 6 (regarding retirees)
Table 1.3. Members: Do Not Wear: (wear the uniform for) furthering political activities, private employment or commercial interests.
Seems pretty straightforward to us. I don’t know why he insists on having the photo of him wearing his uniform on the home page. It looks a bit ill-suited to be honest.
And you thought that this was an all Kerry all the time website.
